Feb 20th is Hoodie Hoo Day. On this day, you are supposed to go outside, wave your hands, and yell Hoodie Hoo! This is supposed to be done to help chase away winter. Some say it is a way to release the tensions of cabin fever. So I have found a few ways you can celebrate Hoodie Hoo Day and help with your cabin fever:

You could try ordering seeds from your favorite seed catalogs. If you don’t garden, you are probably wondering how this could help. Ordering seeds is therapeutic.

Send the wrong checks to all the new conglomerates and see if they’ll notice that you’ve sent your phone bill to the cable company or paid your electric bill via a different bank. This probably isn’t really a good idea, but I thought it sounded fun.

Go to a thrift store and buy a new piece of furniture, even if it’s truly ugly or lacks function; you can always give it away or sell it during your next garage sale.

Adopt a new annoying habit. You can really drive your family and friends nuts with this and it is amazing how much humor you will find in it.

Whatever you decide to do on this day, have fun with it and remember Spring IS coming!
